Our Story
Achievers For Empowerment (AFE) is a community based organization operating in Nakuru County, Kenya. It is better known for past initiatives carried out purposely to reduce household poverty.
AFE is in a position to address challenges faced by different communities in line with our vision and mission. The organization has developed and perfected a multifaceted and integrated strategy; an approach aimed at offering target groups opportunities to develop their personal and communal resources sustainably and in a participatory manner.
This has always been achieved through diverse programmes offered by AFE specifically designed to meet and rightly address priorities arising from their learnt constraints and challenges.

Objectives

To inculcate socio-economic ability among community members towards reduction of household poverty.
Initiate processes of influencing community transformation groups to understand their roles in conceptualizing, designing and implementing economic renaissance interventions.
To build communities’ confidence in leading sustainable wealth creation initiatives towards self-reliance.
Promote wellness among women and youth.
Establish and build strategic partnerships/networks for accomplishing poverty reduction programmes.
